Elizabeth Harvey

The Harvey Lab focuses on elucidating the mechanisms that mediate associations between marine microbes, with a focus on understanding interactions that result in microbial mortality. Research in the lab involves an integrated approach across multiple spatial scales - from molecules to ecosystems - to recognize the mechanisms underlying shifts in phytoplankton population dynamics and primary productivity, and ultimately, to better understand oceanic biogeochemical cycles and global climate.
The Harvey Lab is always looking for enthusiastic post-doctoral investigators, graduate and undergraduate students to join the lab. Email Dr. Harvey for more information!
