Oyster Reef Restoration

The Oyster Restoration Program operating at the Jackson Estuarine Laboratory has conducted experimental and full-scale oyster restoration projects since 2000. The program is multifaceted and includes a shell recycling program, an oyster conservationist program, research on various topics related to oysters and oyster reefs, and includes many partners.
