On Saturday, September 29, 2018 the general public is invited to discover ocean science and marine engineering at UNH! From ocean acoustics to plankton there's something for visitors of all ages!  Check out our state of the art visualization lab where researchers use 3D sonar to measure the impacts of storms and gas seeps to the ocean floor, sample native seafood at the Seafood Throwdown or watch a SCUBA diving demonstration. Ocean Discovery Day provides visitors with an opportunity to explore the wonders of the ocean through many interactive exhibits and demonstrations.

The event is free and open to the general public!
