UNH is a member of the following Arctic focused organizations.
The University of the Arctic (UArctic) is a network of universities, colleges, research institutes, and other organizations concerned with education and research in and about the North. UArctic builds and strengthens collective resources and infrastructures that enable member institutions to better serve their constituents and their regions.
The New England Arctic Network (NEAN) will address links between Arctic change and the natural, social, and built systems throughout the Arctic and the North Atlantic Arctic region. NEAN combines the wealth of academic expertise in Arctic research across New England with researchers, stakeholders, and external partners concerned with environmental, economic, and social impacts, providing an ideal community for anticipating and responding to Arctic change and its impacts on the eastern coast of North America.
The ASIAQ project unites six universities from three continents and four countries (Russia, Japan, USA and Sweden) in an endeavour to jointly advance research and education for a sustainable Arctic. The ASIAQ partner universities are Stockholm University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Umeå University, Northern (Arctic) Federal University, University of New Hampshire and University of Tokyo.
