Research Areas

Fisheries Management.

Research Emphasis

My research includes development, utility, and effectiveness of hydrologic field methods for measurement of parameters (velocity, dispersion, transmissivity, storage, etc.) as well as movement, monitoring, and biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination in soil, groundwater, cold regions, and salt marshes. Innovative well construction methods for assessment of contaminated sites, hydrology and hydraulics of liquid and solid waste management practices (land application of sludge, landfill leachate recirculation, mounding under large septic system leach fields) are also research interests of mine.
