Small Boats
A majority of the UNH small boat fleet is located at the Jackson Estuarine Laboratory (JEL) and the Coastal Marine Laboratory (CML).
Boating facilities at JEL include a pier with a 2,000 pound capacity crane and a floating dock with slip spaces for seven boats. Boats available for research activities include five outboard-powered vessels ranging from a 12-foot skiff to a 22-foot center-console. Along the causeway before reaching the Laboratory, there is a tide-restricted boat ramp on NH Fish and Game Department property.
