Diving Program
Overview
UNH is an Organizational Member of AAUS, where scientific diving is defined as: diving performed solely as a necessary part of scientific, research, or educational activity by employees whose sole purpose for diving is to perform scientific research tasks, and the purpose is for the advancement of science.
The UNH Dive Program consists of two areas - the academic portion where students, faculty and staff may enroll in courses for academic credit (through the Department of Kinesiology) and the research portion which supports faculty and student divers allowing students to participate in university sponsored underwater research projects.
